4 generations of good Maine stock!

My parents and my grands, Molly, Phoebe, Levi and Bruce (in the front). What a fun day. The kids hunted frogs in the stream on the side of the yard and had hugs and kisses for all. It's amazing what fun kids can have with a bit of water in the spring!

My Buddy

Things have changed at the Mummi household. My little buddy, my shadow of every waking moment, had to move off to his own "partment" in the city. Although it's the way things are meant to be, an adjustment for us all!

Bruce comes back to see me once a week or so, and of course stops by the "shop" to have lunch whenever he can.

Today Brucie and his sister Lilly were dropped off so Mamma could have her check up and a few peaceful moments at Reny's (a necessary stop if one is in Bridgeton). We fed the birds, fed the plants, played golf, had snacks and read books. After lunch I cut his hair and then it was time to go. He looked back and said, "I'll come back to see you, will you be lonely again?" I said "Yes, I'll be lonely until you come".

His reply, "I'll be on my way!"

Now what's better than that?

Auntie Business! As good as Mummi Business!

So it finally has come to pass! Niece Kelsey (Glorianne's oldest) came to work with me on Sunday at the Shop.
She was a great help busing tables and it made the day go quickly. Someone even gave her a tip!
We are posing with our favorite cinnamon buns and our look-alike red glasses.

The Grands are Here!

One of our favorite things to do....break out the good china....did I say break?......and soak up a large pot of tea.....and lots of sweets. This particular party had a bounty of sweet and chocolatey items. Usually it is organic graham bears.....bowing to the times. ;-)
Each one has his or her own teapot and cup that they use at every party, the demitasse spoons that I got for my wedding from Finland are perfect for little cups and little hands.

Nothing better than girls!

but don't tell the boys that! Molly, Gillian, Phoebe. The two older ones love to hold Lilly (as we are allowed to call her) and she tolerates it pretty well!
